Voice Act + Sanja Star
Wizjonerki Festival, Warsaw, Poland (2025)
Curator: Anna Jędrzejewska
This collaboration brought together the vocal collective Voice Act—Anna Gadt, Gosia Zagajewska, Marta Grzywacz, and Natalia Kordiak—with real-time visual systems developed by Sanja Star.
The work unfolded as a responsive visual environment in which projected light and generative image processes interacted with vocal material, silence, and breath. The visual system operated as an autonomous field whose structures evolved through signal interaction, temporal modulation, and instability.
Visual form emerged through processes of listening, latency, and transformation, producing a shifting spatial field shaped by the dynamics of voice and acoustic presence.
Presented within the context of Wizjonerki Festival, a platform supporting experimental artistic practices and collaborative research, the project explored intersections between vocal performance and real-time media systems.
In addition to the live work, Sanja Star developed the festival’s key visual, producing animated graphics that translated the festival’s focus on experimentation and transformation into a dynamic visual language.
