My current artistic research investigates how relationships between bodies, materials, signals and technological systems become perceptible through artistic practice. Through material experimentation, interaction, sensory translation and reflection, I bring different systems into contact to explore what changes when knowledge and experience move between them.

The Golden Signal: Algorithmic Realities
Status: In development
A developing artistic research project investigating how social-media algorithms select, organise and circulate information. It explores the relationship between embodied action, computational processes and the conditions under which content becomes visible and receives attention. The artistic form and research questions are being developed through experimentation.
Folding Field
Status: Completed artwork · Reflection and writing in development
Developed during the FUNKEN × MAIN ArtScience residency at TU Chemnitz / Research Center MAIN, Folding Fieldtranslates electromagnetic field recordings and structures encountered in nanomembrane research into sound, light, textile and embodied experience. The completed work provides a basis for further reflection on artistic translation as a method of inquiry and knowledge production. A related research paper, Thinking With Science: Artistic Translation as Experimental Material in an ArtScience Residency at MAIN, is in development.

The Golden Signal
Status: Ongoing
An evolving series of interactive textile experiments using Zlatovez embroidery from Eastern Croatia as a starting point. Through conductive materials, gesture and responsive sound and light, I investigate how knowledge carried through the hands encounters computational systems. The work explores textile as both a material form and an interactive instrument, with further experiments opening toward questions of communication and algorithmic mediation.

My artistic research develops through residencies, interdisciplinary collaborations, and educational environments that bring artistic practice into dialogue with scientific inquiry, technology, and collective experimentation. These contexts provide opportunities to test ideas, develop methods, and explore how knowledge can be translated across materials, systems, and forms of perception.

My work with FUNKEN × TU Chemnitz / MAIN has developed across artistic research, ArtScience collaboration, and interdisciplinary education. During the 2025 residency at the MAIN Research Center, I developed Folding Field through encounters with electromagnetic fields, nanostructured materials, researchers, and laboratory environments. I also worked within the FUNKEN Academy as a mentor for interdisciplinary student groups from art and music universities.
The programme brought artistic and scientific practices into dialogue through laboratory visits, conversations with researchers, experimentation, and making. I supported students in developing artistic responses to scientific phenomena and research contexts, working across sound, image, material, computation, and performance.
My own research during the residency explored how scientific phenomena can be translated across sensory and material systems. This resulted in Folding Field, a wearable audiovisual system connecting electromagnetic field recordings, sound, light, textile, movement, and the body.
The residency also led to the paper Thinking With Science: Artistic Translation as Experimental Material in an ArtScience Residency at MAIN, co-authored with Dr. Thomas Blaudeck and currently in development.

As part of Mars College Berlin at School of Machines, I participated in an art research group focused on experimental collaborative practice, culminating in a public group exhibition and presentation of research-based works.
My teaching practice spans sound, visual communication, interaction design and creative technology. I work across practical and conceptual approaches, encouraging students to explore relationships between tools, materials, systems and ideas through experimentation, critical reflection and making.
Alongside technical and design skills, I am interested in how creative processes shape the way we perceive, interpret and communicate information. My pedagogical practice provides a space for connecting practical exploration with critical inquiry, supporting students in developing their own approaches to creative work.
