Timeframe: 2019–ongoing

[ freq:res ] is a long-term research and performance project investigating how sound influences visual form. Structured around data, improvisation, and audiovisual systems, the study draws on sound’s inherent structure, frequency, rhythm, amplitude, as a catalyst for real-time visual transformation.

This modular, improvisation-based practice spans audiovisual performance/installation, and collaborative experimentation. [ freq:res ] approaches frequency as architecture, vibration as composition, and listening as a creative methodology.

Optical & Experimental Research and Performance Study

[ opt:exp ] is a transdisciplinary research and performance study investigating how light, material absence, and optical phenomena can be used as tools for audiovisual expression and speculative embodiment. Positioned at the convergence of contemporary art, physics, and esoteric cosmologies, the project explores nonmaterial systems—such as photons, diffraction, and vibrational fields—as agents of sensory transformation and artistic inquiry.

This long-term study unfolds across performance, installation, and scientific collaboration, with a particular focus on the performative potentials of optics, laser systems, holography, and responsive environments. Working with scientists, technologists, and theorists, [opt:exp] seeks to reframe perception through light-based media, drawing on themes of starseed identities, nonhuman futures, and embodied data. As an extension of post-digital and posthuman discourse, the study considers optics not merely as visual tools but as gateways into expanded forms of consciousness, cultural memory, and cosmological speculation.

Through site-specific experimentation, speculative design, and live audiovisual systems, [opt:exp] proposes new narratives at the intersection of energy, identity, and light—offering an evolving practice where optics become a medium of both scientific inquiry and metaphysical expression.
